FAQ: Error message: ‘you can not enrol yourself in this course’

If you get this error message when you log into your moodle account, this means that you might be registered to have an account but have not yet been enrolled into your course. Enrolment dates vary from course to course, depending on the induction period. Please  email us at moodlehelp@montessori.org.uk with your first, last name and registered email address so that we can resolve the issue.

FAQ: Why can’t I view the quizzes/.ppt/ videos and games?

Most of the  multimedia tools and animations such as games/ animations/ quizzes and power points were created using Adobe Flash that require you to have the Flash Plugin installed on your computer (you probably have it already if you have a modern machine or if you are using Google Chrome as a browser, as it already includes AdobeFlashPlayer built-in).

Therefore, we recommend that you Google Chrome for Moodle to run efficiently on your system and enable you to participate in the course effectively.

Please note that iPads and iPhones (regardless of version) do not support Flash, therefore these animations will not be available on those devices.

FAQ: Error message: ‘No course information available’

This happens when maintenance on our server and hosting partners is taking place. You will receive an email notification from your course News forum, notifying you of the date/times when this will happen. There can also be times of unschedule maintenance where you might experience a short term ‘glitch’. If you have not been informed of any maintenance taking place, and the problem continues to persist after a short period of time, the best thing to do is to contact moodlehelp@montessori.org.uk so that the support team can investigate further.
